Monitoring of Construction and Infrastructure – Finland

IndustryRadar is now looking for a Finnish-speaking freelance writer/journalist for monitoring and news reporting in the construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors in the Finnish market.

The assignment involves journalistic work for both print media and, in the long term, digital channels. The work is commissioned by IndustryRadar and compensated according to a predetermined fee.

As a freelance journalist with us, you play an important role in how we report industry news moving forward and are simultaneously a key person in the development of our operations in the Finnish market.

Responsibilities

In the role of writer/journalist, you will primarily work with:

• Print media – articles and reports for our Finnish industry magazines
• Digital publishing – content for the website iradar.fi, LinkedIn, and daily newsletters
• Content marketing – sponsored content in Finnish
• Communication – close dialogue with colleagues within the organization, primarily our Finnish sales department based in Finland and the editorial team based in Kungsholmen, Stockholm

Qualifications

To succeed in this assignment, we see that you have:

• Journalistic education and/or equivalent professional experience
• Very good knowledge of Finnish, both spoken and written
• Experience in digital publishing, preferably in WordPress
• Experience creating engaging content for social media
• Interest in the business sector in Finland and the ability to identify relevant industry news

Placement and Assignment Form

This is an ongoing editorial assignment that can be performed remotely, and the scope is determined by the needs of the business. It is an advantage if you are located in the Stockholm area and can work from our office in Kungsholmen if needed. The assignment suits you if you thrive in an independent working style and take responsibility.
